Respondents<\/pre>\n<pre>Coram:       Hon'ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Bindal\n\n\nPresent:     Mr. Navneet Singh, Assistant Advocate General, Haryana.\n\n\n\nRajesh Bindal J.\n<\/pre>\n<p>             The State has filed the present appeal before this court against the<br \/>\naward of the learned court below passed under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition<br \/>\nAct, 1894 (for short, &#8216;the Act&#8217;) seeking reduction in compensation for the acquired<br \/>\nland.\n<\/p>\n<p>             Briefly, the facts of the case are that the State of Haryana vide<br \/>\nnotification dated 17.5.1990 issued under Section 4 of the Act, acquired the land<br \/>\nfor development and utilisation thereof as residential and commercial area in<br \/>\nSector 12 Sonepat. The Land Acquisition Collector assessed the market value of<br \/>\nthe land at Rs. 1,80,000 per acre and Rs. 1,30,000 per acre for specific khasra<br \/>\nnumber given in the award. On reference under Section 18 of the Act, the learned<br \/>\ncourt below vide award dated 24.10.2005, assessed the value of the acquired land<br \/>\nat Rs. 120\/- per square yard and Rs. 100\/- square yard for different kinds of land.\n<\/p>\n<p>             Learned Assistant Advocate General very fairly conceded that the<br \/>\nclaim made in the appeal is squarely covered by judgments of this court in R. F.<br \/>\nA. No. 1718 of 2001 <a href=\"\/doc\/1577378\/\">Atam Parkash vs State of Haryana and others<\/a> decided on<br \/>\n24.9.2007 and R. F. A.
