In\u00a0our\u00a0order\u00a0dated\u00a01\u00a0November\u00a02010,\u00a0we\u00a0had\u00a0directed\u00a0the\u00a0then\u00a0CPIO\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>and\u00a0the\u00a0Branch\u00a0Manager\u00a0to\u00a0appear\u00a0before\u00a0us\u00a0and\u00a0explain\u00a0why\u00a0there\u00a0was\u00a0a\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>delay\u00a0of\u00a0more\u00a0than\u00a0one\u00a0month\u00a0in\u00a0providing\u00a0the\u00a0information.\u00a0 \u00a0Today,\u00a0we\u00a0heard\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CIC\/SM\/A\/2010\/000587<br \/>\n the \u00a0 then \u00a0 Branch \u00a0 Manager \u00a0 and \u00a0 a \u00a0 representative \u00a0 of \u00a0 the \u00a0 CPIO \u00a0 through\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>videoconferencing.\u00a0 \u00a0Both\u00a0of\u00a0them\u00a0were\u00a0present\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0Varanasi\u00a0Studio\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>NIC.\u00a0\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>3.       The\u00a0 then\u00a0Branch\u00a0 Manager\u00a0(Shri\u00a0 A.K.\u00a0Pandey)\u00a0submitted\u00a0 that\u00a0 he\u00a0 had\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>received\u00a0the\u00a0RTI\u00adapplication\u00a0on\u00a013\u00a0October\u00a0and\u00a0had\u00a0forwarded\u00a0it\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0CPIO\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>on\u00a028\u00a0October\u00a02009.\u00a0\u00a0On\u00a0behalf\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0CPIO,\u00a0however,\u00a0it\u00a0was\u00a0submitted\u00a0that\u00a0the\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>RTI\u00adapplication\u00a0reached\u00a0their\u00a0office\u00a0only\u00a0on\u00a01\u00a0December\u00a02009\u00a0whereafter\u00a0they\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>promptly\u00a0sent\u00a0the\u00a0reply\u00a0on\u00a03\u00a0December.\u00a0\u00a0It\u00a0is\u00a0not\u00a0probable\u00a0that\u00a0a\u00a0communication\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>sent \u00a0 from \u00a0 one \u00a0 of \u00a0 the \u00a0 Branches \u00a0 in \u00a0 the \u00a0 state \u00a0 of \u00a0 Uttar \u00a0 Pradesh \u00a0 should \u00a0 have\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>reached\u00a0Varanasi\u00a0nearly\u00a0a\u00a0month\u00a0after\u00a0it\u00a0was\u00a0despatched,\u00a0reportedly\u00a0through\u00a0a\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>courier.\u00a0\u00a0This\u00a0matter\u00a0needs\u00a0to\u00a0be\u00a0probed.\u00a0\u00a0Therefore,\u00a0in\u00a0exercise\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0powers\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>vested\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0CIC\u00a0under\u00a0Section\u00a020(2)\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Right\u00a0to\u00a0Information\u00a0(RTI)\u00a0Act,\u00a0we\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>direct \u00a0 the \u00a0 CMD \u00a0 of \u00a0 the \u00a0 Bank \u00a0 to \u00a0 get \u00a0 this \u00a0 matter \u00a0 enquired \u00a0 into \u00a0 and \u00a0 to \u00a0 fix\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>responsibility\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0delay\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0delivery\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0RTI\u00adapplication\u00a0and\u00a0to\u00a0initiate\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>proper\u00a0disciplinary\u00a0action\u00a0if\u00a0it\u00a0is\u00a0found\u00a0that\u00a0the\u00a0delay\u00a0was\u00a0intentional\u00a0and\u00a0wilful.\u00a0A\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>compliance\u00a0report\u00a0be\u00a0sent\u00a0to\u00a0us\u00a0within\u00a02\u00a0months.<\/p>\n<p>4.       The\u00a0Commission\u00a0ordered\u00a0accordingly.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>5.
