SIRI JAGAN, J.\n                  -----------------------------------\n                   W.P.(C)NOs.22296,22393 &amp;\n                             22874 OF 2007\n                 --------------------------------------\n           DATED THIS THE 30th DAY OF JULY, 2007\n\n                               JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      In these three writ petitions the vehicles belonging to the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners were seized on allegations of illegal transport of river sand.<\/p>\n<p>The petitioners complain that no final orders have been passed and<\/p>\n<p>therefore, they seek interim custody of the vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>      Having heard both sides, I dispose of these writ petitions<\/p>\n<p>directing the District Collector concerned to release the respective<\/p>\n<p>vehicles of the petitioners, on the petitioners depositing an amount of<\/p>\n<p>Rs.25,000\/- each and furnishing proof of ownership of their vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>This is subject to the further condition that the petitioners shall not<\/p>\n<p>alienate or otherwise part with possession of the vehicles.           The<\/p>\n<p>collector shall pass final orders in the matter expeditiously.<\/p>\n<p>                                         S.
