No appearance\n 2,3 to 5 &amp; 7\t \t\n\n\n:ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tHeard Mr.K.Baalasundaram, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the<br \/>\npetitioner, as well as Mr.Pala Ramasamy, the learned Special Government Pleader<br \/>\nappearing on behalf of the first and the sixth respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel<br \/>\nappearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if<br \/>\nthe representation of the petitioner, dated 08.07.2008, is directed to be<br \/>\ndisposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the first<br \/>\nand the sixth respondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by<br \/>\nthis Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this<br \/>\npetition and in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on<br \/>\nbehalf of the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider and<br \/>\ndispose of the petitioner&#8217;s representation, dated 08.07.2008, on merits and in<br \/>\naccordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of<br \/>\na copy of this order.  The petitioner is directed to submit a copy of the<br \/>\nrepresentation, dated 08.07.2008, along with a copy of this order, to the first<br \/>\nrespondent. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not<br \/>\nexpressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. The writ petition stands disposed of, with the above directions.
