Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :22\/12\/2010\n\n O R D E R\n                       ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n                    ================\n                  W.P.(C) NO. 35889 OF 2010\n                 =====================\n\n          Dated this the 22nd day of December, 2010\n\n                         J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Petitioner passed her secondary school examination and<\/p>\n<p>Plus One examination. However, due to various diseases that she<\/p>\n<p>is suffering from and on account of the continuous treatment, she<\/p>\n<p>could not complete her plus two course by appearing in the<\/p>\n<p>examination. She is also unable to continue attending classes,<\/p>\n<p>and therefore, she has approached this Court seeking a direction<\/p>\n<p>to respondents to allow her to register herself as a private<\/p>\n<p>student.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.    Learned Government Pleader, who has obtained<\/p>\n<p>instructions in the matter submits that since the petitioner did not<\/p>\n<p>have sufficient attendance, she cannot appear in the regular<\/p>\n<p>stream. It is stated that, in such circumstances, the only option<\/p>\n<p>available to the petitioner is to get herself registered as a private<\/p>\n<p>candidate, and for that purpose, petitioner will have to make an<\/p>\n<p>application before the Director of Higher Secondary Education.<\/p>\n<p>      3.    Now that the Government Pleader has made the<\/p>\n<p>aforesaid submission, the only option available to the petitioner is<\/p>\n<p>WPC No. 35889\/10<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                 :2 :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>to make an application before the Director of Higher Secondary<\/p>\n<p>Education.     It is directed that if the petitioner makes an<\/p>\n<p>application to the Director of Higher Secondary Education as<\/p>\n<p>mentioned above, the Director shall consider the application and<\/p>\n<p>pass appropriate orders in the matter, which shall be done at any<\/p>\n<p>rate within 4 weeks of receipt of the application.
