Respondents.\n\n\n\nPrayer: Original Application No.86 of 2001 filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, on abolition, transferred to the file of this Court and renumbered as Writ Petition No.48325 of 2007, seeking for a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to appoint the applicant to the post of wireman in the 1st respondent municipality by relaxing the rules with respect to educational qualification and regularise his services from the date of initial appointment with all consequential service and monetary benefits.\n\nM.JAICHANDREN,J.\n\n\t\tFor Petitioner\t  : A.Tamil Rajan\n\n\t\tFor Respondents    : Mr.V.Arun\n\t\t\t\t\t     Additional Government Pleader\n\nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tToday, when this writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner had submitted that the writ petition had become infructuous. Based on the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and in view of the endorsement made, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
