Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :22\/11\/2007\n\n O R D E R\n                   ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n\n            = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n              W.P.(C) No.34522 OF 2007 I\n            = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n           Dated this the 22nd November, 2007\n\n                    J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>    The challenge in this writ petition is against<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P7, which has been issued by the 1st respondent in<\/p>\n<p>pursuance to the direction of this court in Ext.P6<\/p>\n<p>judgment.\n<\/p>\n<p>    2.   The facts of the case are that though the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners are students, who did not have 50% marks to<\/p>\n<p>be admitted for TTC, they were admitted inspite of<\/p>\n<p>their  ineligibility.    Writ  petition  was  filed  by<\/p>\n<p>similarly situated students claiming that irrespective<\/p>\n<p>of their ineligibility to be admitted, they should be<\/p>\n<p>allowed to continue the course.     That was the issue<\/p>\n<p>that was considered in Ext.P6 judgment, where this<\/p>\n<p>court has already held that no direction as sought for<\/p>\n<p>could be granted.   But however, it was ordered that<\/p>\n<p>Government will consider whether relaxation should be<\/p>\n<p>sought for from the 7th respondent reducing the minimum<\/p>\n<p>eligibility fixed. This issue has been considered by<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.(C) No. 34522 OF 2007          2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>the Government and by the impugned order, Government<\/p>\n<p>decided that the minimum eligibility will continue to<\/p>\n<p>be 50% and that relaxation need not be sought for.      It<\/p>\n<p>is   this     order,    which is challenged in  this  writ<\/p>\n<p>petition.\n<\/p>\n<p>     3.     As already noticed, the claim for relaxing the<\/p>\n<p>minimum mark to make the students eligible to seek<\/p>\n<p>admission has already been considered by this court and<\/p>\n<p>negatived in Ext.P6.         In the light of Ext.P6, the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners are not entitled to get the prayer sought<\/p>\n<p>for in this writ petition.
