No. 397 of 2004\n\n                        -------------------------------\n\n            Dated, this the   11th  day of  December,  2006\n\n\n                                  JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>Ramachandran Nair, J.(Oral)<\/p>\n<p>           Both sides agree that the term of office of the Panchayat<\/p>\n<p>is over.  However, counsel  submitted that the petitioner wants to<\/p>\n<p>pursue   the   matter   because   of   the   disqualification   for   six   years.<\/p>\n<p>Since   fresh   elections   are   held   there   is   no   likelihood   of   further<\/p>\n<p>election   within   six   years.     However,   if   election   takes   place   and<\/p>\n<p>the   petitioner   is   unable   to   contest   on   account   of   the<\/p>\n<p>disqualification, it will be open to the petitioner to approach this<\/p>\n<p>Court.     Giving   the   above   freedom   to   the   petitioner   we   dismiss<\/p>\n<p>this writ appeal.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                       V.K.
