Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :24\/11\/2010\n\n O R D E R\n                       ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n\n             ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````\n                  W.P.(C) No. 35057 of 2010 F\n             ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````\n         Dated this the 24th day of November, 2010\n\n                            J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>           According to the petitioners, they are licenced to<\/p>\n<p>conduct an amusement park at the compound of Ochira<\/p>\n<p>Parabrahmam Temple. It is stated that the licence granted<\/p>\n<p>was for 12 days from 17-11-2010.                    The grievance of the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners is that respondents 3 to 5 are not permitting them<\/p>\n<p>to open the stalls on the allegation that what the petitioners<\/p>\n<p>propose to carry on is prohibited under the provisions of the<\/p>\n<p>Gaming Act.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.   Learned        Government            Pleader        has   obtained<\/p>\n<p>instructions in the matter and submits that, if as stated by the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners, what is proposed to be carried on are not activities<\/p>\n<p>which are otherwise not prohibited, the respondents have no<\/p>\n<p>objection in the petitioners opening the stalls at the<\/p>\n<p>amusement park.\n<\/p>\n<p>      In the light of the submissions made, I dispose of the writ<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C) No.35057\/10<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                : 2 :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>petition directing that, if the activities proposed to be carried<\/p>\n<p>on by the petitioners are otherwise not objectionable in law,<\/p>\n<p>the respondents shall not prevent the petitioners from carrying<\/p>\n<p>on the activities as per the licence that is said to have been<\/p>\n<p>obtained by them.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                     (ANTONY DOMINIC, JUDGE)<br \/>\naks<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kerala High Court Jose vs Oachira Grama Panchayath on 24 November, 2010 IN THE HIGH COURT OF KERALA AT ERNAKULAM WP(C).No. 35057 of 2010(F) 1.
