Justice P.R.RAMACHANDRA MENON\n\n Dated :11\/05\/2010\n\n O R D E R\n                P.R.RAMACHANDRA MENON, J.\n               ----------------------------------------------\n                  W.P.(C)No. 14762 OF 2010\n             -----------------------------------------------------\n           DATED THIS THE 11th DAY OF MAY, 2010\n\n                          J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>     The petitioners have approached this Court with the<\/p>\n<p>following prayers.\n<\/p>\n<p>       (i)   issue a writ of mandamus or any other<\/p>\n<p>       appropriate writ, direction or order directing the<\/p>\n<p>       respondents to revalue the answer scripts of the<\/p>\n<p>       petitioners and declare the revaluation results<\/p>\n<p>       expeditiously and<\/p>\n<p>       (ii)  to declare that the delay in declaring the<\/p>\n<p>       revaluation results of the petitioners amounts to<\/p>\n<p>       shirking of statutory duties.\n<\/p>\n<p>     2.    The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents<\/p>\n<p>submits that only one petitioner has filed application for<\/p>\n<p>revaluation and actual factual position is still to be ascertained as<\/p>\n<p>to whether such applications, if at all preferred by the petitioners<\/p>\n<p>are proper and pending.       The learned Standing Counsel also<\/p>\n<p>submits that if the applications have been received and are<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.(C)No.14762\/10                -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>otherwise in order, the same can be considered and finalised<\/p>\n<p>within a period of six weeks.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3.
