No.1049 of 2008\n                =====================\n            Dated this the 28th day of March, 2008\n\n                               ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The accused in C.C. No. 2441 of 2003 on the file of the<\/p>\n<p>Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ernakulam for an offence<\/p>\n<p>punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act,<\/p>\n<p>1881, challenges the conviction entered and the sentence passed<\/p>\n<p>against her concurrently by the courts below.<\/p>\n<p>      2.   Pending this revision, the parties have settled the<\/p>\n<p>matter. Crl.M.A.No. 1049 of 2008 has been filed under Section<\/p>\n<p>147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 seeking permission<\/p>\n<p>to record the composition entered into       between the revision<\/p>\n<p>petitioner and the complainant.        The said petition has been<\/p>\n<p>signed by both the revision petitioner as well as the complainant<\/p>\n<p>and their respective counsels. In the light of this development,<\/p>\n<p>the aforementioned composition is recorded and it will have the<\/p>\n<p>effect of an acquittal of the revision       petitioner within the<\/p>\n<p>meaning of Sec. 320 (8) Cr.P.C.\n<\/p>\n<p>      This Crl.
