(ORAL)\n<\/pre>\n<p>            Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226\/227 of<\/p>\n<p>the Constitution of India with a prayer that impugned order dated 23rd<\/p>\n<p>September, 2009 (Annexure P-1) passed by Registrar of Marriages-cum-<\/p>\n<p>Sub Divisional Magistrate-cum-Tehsildar, Balachaur be quashed.<\/p>\n<p>            Gurcharan Singh Brar, Registrar of Marriage-cum-Tehsildar,<\/p>\n<p>Balachaur, is present in Court. He has tendered his unconditional\/<\/p>\n<p>unqualified apology and has submitted that henceforth there will be no<\/p>\n<p>lapse on his part in assisting counsel for the State. The apology has been<\/p>\n<p>accepted by Mr. Anil Kumar Sharma, Additional Advocate General,<\/p>\n<p>Punjab.\n<\/p>\n<p>            In these circumstances, this Court intends to proceed with the<\/p>\n<p>case.
