Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :22\/09\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                         ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n\n                 = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n                 = =W.P.(C) = = = = = = = = = = = =\n                            No. 25313 OF 2008 L\n                     = = =\n\n\n              Dated this the 22nd day of September 2008\n\n\n                           J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>     The substantial prayer in this case is to direct the 1st<\/p>\n<p>respondent to nominate their representative to the Selection<\/p>\n<p>Committee or to direct their nominee to participate in the Selection<\/p>\n<p>Committee meeting for selecting Lecturers for appointment against<\/p>\n<p>the vacancies notified as per Ext. P1.      The University has already<\/p>\n<p>given its list of nominees as seen from Ext. P10 and what remains is<\/p>\n<p>the nomination of Government representative.<\/p>\n<p>     2. Today, when the matter came up for orders, the learned<\/p>\n<p>counsel    for    the petitioner   made     available before     me    a<\/p>\n<p>communication dated 22.8.2008 issued by the District Collector,<\/p>\n<p>Kozhikode conveying his willingness to be the Government<\/p>\n<p>representative in the selection committee for the selection of<\/p>\n<p>teaching staff. In view of this, all that is to be done is to direct the<\/p>\n<p>1st respondent to issue necessary orders enabling the District<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C) No. 25313 OF 2008<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                 -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Collector to participate in the selection committee for selection of<\/p>\n<p>teaching staff against the vacancies notified in Ext. P1. This, the 1st<\/p>\n<p>respondent shall do as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within<\/p>\n<p>4 weeks of production of a copy of this judgment.<\/p>\n<p>     3.
