Justice V.RAMKUMAR\n\n Dated :07\/12\/2010\n\n O R D E R\n                         V.RAMKUMAR, J.\n          -----------------------------------------------------\n              Bail Application No.7675 of 2010\n          ------------------------------------------------------\n        Dated this the 07th day of December, 2010\n\n                                ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioners, who are accused Nos.1 to 9 in Crime<\/p>\n<p>No.71 of 2010 of Sholayur Police Station for offences<\/p>\n<p>punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 347, 323, 308, 420<\/p>\n<p>&amp; 379 read with Section 149 I.P.C., seek their enlargement on<\/p>\n<p>bail.   The occurrence took place on 17\/11\/2010. The<\/p>\n<p>petitioners were arrested on 17\/11\/2010.<\/p>\n<p>      2.   The     learned     Public     Prosecutor      opposed the<\/p>\n<p>application contending inter alia that five persons were<\/p>\n<p>attacked with deadly weapons like axe, wooden sticks, etc. and<\/p>\n<p>A3 to A9 are hirelings from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu<\/p>\n<p>engaged for hire and that a loss of Rupees two lakhs has been<\/p>\n<p>caused to the estate.\n<\/p>\n<p>      3.   Having regard to the gravity of the offences, nature<\/p>\n<p>of the allegations levelled against the petitioners, the relative<\/p>\n<p>conduct of the parties, the extent of the injury sustained, the<\/p>\n<p>propensities of the petitioners, the sentiments of the near<\/p>\n<p>relatives of the victim and the other facts and circumstances<\/p>\n<p>of the case, I am of the view that             if the petitioners are<\/p>\n<p>Bail Appln.No.7675\/2010<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                               : 2 :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>released on bail, they will definitely influence and intimidate<\/p>\n<p>the prosecution witnesses. There is also the likelihood of the<\/p>\n<p>petitioners making themselves scarce and fleeing from justice.<\/p>\n<p>I am, therefore, not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at<\/p>\n<p>this stage.\n<\/p>\n<p>      This petition is accordingly dismissed.<\/p>\n<p>                                      V.
