Justice P.N.RAVINDRAN\n\n Dated :04\/11\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                               P.N.Ravindran, J.\n                        =====================\n                         W.P(C).No.31336 of 2008\n                        =====================\n\n               Dated this the 4th day of November, 2008.\n\n                               JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      Heard Sri.T.P.Deyananthan, the learned counsel appearing for the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner and Smt. Anu Sivaraman, the learned Government Pleader<\/p>\n<p>appearing for the respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. The petitioner is presently working as Peon in the Co-operation<\/p>\n<p>Department.    He has in Ext.P4 application sought inter departmental<\/p>\n<p>transfer and posting as Peon in the Technical Education Department.<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P4 application was submitted to his superior officer, namely, the<\/p>\n<p>Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies (Audit), Alappuzha, who in<\/p>\n<p>turn according to the petitioner, has forwarded it to the Registrar of Co-<\/p>\n<p>operative Societies. The grievance of the petitioner is that the second<\/p>\n<p>respondent is not inclined to entertain such applications and therefore,<\/p>\n<p>there is likelihood of delay in the matter. In this Writ Petition, the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner seeks     expeditious disposal of his application for inter<\/p>\n<p>departmental transfer.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. Whether going by the rules governing the field, the petitioner is<\/p>\n<p>entitled to be given inter departmental transfer is essentially a matter for<\/p>\n<p>the respondents to decide.     Since the respondents are yet to take a<\/p>\n<p>decision in the matter, it would be premature for this Court to direct that<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner should be given interdepartmental transfer.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WP(C) 31336\/08                   -: 2 :-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      3.
