Interlocutory Application No. 6461 of 2011.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                The delay of 91 days occurred in filing the Letters<br \/>\n                 Patent Appeal is condoned.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                Interlocutory Application stands disposed of.<br \/>\n                                Re. Letters Patent Appeal No. 1312 of 2011.<br \/>\n                                Feeling aggrieved by the judgment and order dated<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\"> 2      Patna High Court LPA No.1312 of 2011 (2) dt.19-09-2011<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                                             2\/2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>                19th April 2011 made by the learned single Judge in above CWJC<br \/>\n                No. 3088 of 2008, the writ petitioner has preferred the present<br \/>\n                Appeal under Clause 10 of the Letters Patent.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                 The appellant claims compassionate employment on<br \/>\n                the premise that his father late Om Prakash Mishra passed away on<br \/>\n                21.02.1992 in harness. The petitioner, then a minor aged about five<br \/>\n                years, on attaining the age of majority applied for compassionate<br \/>\n                employment. The said application has been rejected by the<br \/>\n                respondents as time barred. The challenge to the rejection of the<br \/>\n                application for compassionate employment before the learned<br \/>\n                single Judge has failed. Therefore, the present Appeal.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                 We agree with the learned single Judge. There cannot<br \/>\n                be compassionate employment 20 years after the death of the<br \/>\n                government servant concerned. Admittedly, the appellant being<br \/>\n                the minor did not apply for compassionate employment within the<br \/>\n                specified period.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                 No case for interference is made out.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                 Appeal is dismissed in limine.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                      (R.M.
