Process adopted for compiling designing, printing and publishing the Charter\n          including\n   8.     The process adopted for selecting vendors for various services related to the\n          publication of the Charter.\n   9.     Names and addresses of all such vendors together with copies of terms and conditions\n          agreed with them.\n   10.    Cost incurred in terms of compiling, designing, printing etc. Please provide cost\n          under each head separately.\n\nPIO's Reply:\n   1.    The Application is made on the letter head \"Nyaaya Bhumi\" and as mentioned on the\n         letter head \"Nyaaya Bhumi\" is a society\/organization registered under the Societies\n         Registration Act, 1860, registered in Delhi under number S\/47043 dated 22\/09\/2003.\n     2.       Giving reference of the provisions of Part II of the Constitution and the Citizenship\n             Act, 1955 PIO stated that the right of information cannot be claimed by a company or\n             by an association or by a body of individuals.\n    3.       As per Section of 3 of the RTI Act, 2005, which stipulates \"Right to Information-\n             subject to the provisions of this Act, all Citizens shall have the Right to Information\"\n             i.e information is given to \"All CITIZENS\" only and that society is not covered under\n             the RTI Act for purpose of seeking information. NO information can be furnished\n             under the RTI Act, to a person who is not a citizen within the meaning of Section 3 of\n             RTI Act.\n\n\nGrounds for First Appeal:\nThe Appellant contended that PIO has maliciously rejected the Application on the ground that\nthe Application is typed on the letter head of a Society.\n\nOrder of the First Appellate Authority:\nComplaint was filed before CIC. It had been remanded back. FAA stated that SPIO has filed\ninformation.
