RAMKUMAR, J.\n\n\n                    ````````````````````````````````````````````````````\n\n                             B.A. No. 2478 OF 2007 D\n\n                    ````````````````````````````````````````````````````\n\n                     Dated this the 24th day of May, 2007\n\n\n                                      O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>               Petitioner,   who is   the     2nd  accused  in   Crime   No.664\/06   of<\/p>\n<p>Kottarakara Police Station for offences punishable under Secs.489B and<\/p>\n<p>489C   I.P.C.,   seeks   anticipatory  bail.         The   occurrence   took   place   on<\/p>\n<p>5.6.06.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>       2.      The learned Public Prosecutor opposed the application.<\/p>\n<p>       3.       Anticipatory bail cannot be granted in a case of this nature.<\/p>\n<p>But at the same time,  I am inclined to permit the petitioner to surrender<\/p>\n<p>before the Investigating Officer for the purpose of interrogation and then<\/p>\n<p>to   have   his   application   for   bail   considered   by   the   Magistrate     having<\/p>\n<p>jurisdiction.     Accordingly,   the   petitioner   shall   surrender   before   the<\/p>\n<p>investigating  officer  on  any day   between 30-05-2007 and 01-06-2007<\/p>\n<p>for the purpose of interrogation and   recovery of incriminating material,<\/p>\n<p>if  any.   The   petitioner  shall,  thereafter,  be   produced on  the   same  day<\/p>\n<p>before   the   Magistrate,   who   shall     consider   his   application   for     regular<\/p>\n<p>bail,  preferably on the same date  on  which such application is filed.<\/p>\n<p>       This petition is disposed of as above.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                          (V.
