Shankar Reddy,\n                                                         RPF Commissioner)\n\nDate of Hearing:                                         28\/01\/2009\n\nDate of Decision:                                        28\/01\/2009\n\nFACTS<\/pre>\n<p>:-\n<\/p>\n<p>       By his letter of 25\/04\/2008, the Appellant had requested for information on the<br \/>\nfollowing four points:-\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>         &#8220;1.      Details unpaid principal amount &amp; interest of provident fund due by<br \/>\n                  MAFATLAL IND.Ltd. as on dt. 30.6.2002.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>         2.       MODE OF PAYMENT made by MAFATLAL IND. In above amount<br \/>\n                  after sanction rehabilitation scheme by BIFR board.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>         3.       Details of Last running contribution deposited by MIL Ltd.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>         4.       details of total balance amount in P.F. No.GJ\/363\/14460 &amp; what the action<br \/>\n                  has been taken by P.F. Commissioner to release payment even though<br \/>\n                  duly filled form no.19&amp;10 c are deposited with employer office on<br \/>\n                  dt.3.6.99.&#8221;\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>2.     It appears that RPF Commissioner, Ahmedabad, had furnished some information<br \/>\nto the Appellant vide letter dated 31\/10\/2008. Dissatisfied with this, he had filed First<br \/>\nAppeal before the AA. The AA, vide, letter dated 21\/01\/2008, had furnished information<br \/>\nto the Appellant in regard to point Nos.1&amp;4 above. However, information in regard to<br \/>\npoint Nos.2&amp;3, was not furnished due to its non-availability.\n<\/p>\n<p>3.       The present Appeal is directed against the order of the AA.\n<\/p>\n<p>4.     The matter was fixed for hearing on 02\/01\/2009 but neither the Appellant nor the<br \/>\nrepresentative of the Public Authority appeared before the Commission. Hence, the<br \/>\nhearing was adjourned to 28\/01\/2009. As scheduled, the matter was heard on<br \/>\n28\/01\/2009. The Appellant did not appear before the Commission.                  The Public<br \/>\nAuthority is represented by Shri V. Shankar Reddy, RPF Commissioner. It is the<br \/>\nsubmission of Shri Reddy that information in regard to point No.1&amp;4 has already been<br \/>\nfurnished to the Appellant. However, as regards information on point No.2&amp;3, he would<br \/>\nsubmit that he is willing to furnish this information to the Appellant but it will take some<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\"> 21BharatKrOShahvsEPFODelhi281 1                                2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>time to reconcile the accounts and to cull out the information. He seeks six weeks time<br \/>\nfor this purpose. As regards the settlement of personal account of the Appellant, viz., PF<br \/>\nNo. GJ\/363\/14460, it is the submission of Shri Reddy that he is prepared to settle the<br \/>\naccount if he submits a fresh claim to him as the old a claim submitted by the Appellant<br \/>\nway back in 1999 to the management of Mafatlal Group has not received in RPFC Office.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                                        DECISION<\/p>\n<p>5.        In view of the above, the following order is passed:-\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>          (a)          Shri Reddy would furnish information to the Appellant in regard to point<br \/>\n                       No.2&amp;3 in six weeks time; and<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>          (b)          personal account of the Appellant would be settled by him in four weeks<br \/>\n                       time after the Appellant submits a fresh claim to him.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>6.
