MUKHOPADHAYA)<\/p>\n<p>\tThis<br \/>\nwrit petition has been preferred under the caption &#8220;Public<br \/>\nInterest Litigation&#8221; by three persons from whom, 1st<br \/>\npetitioner is  an elected member of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher<br \/>\nSecondary Education Board [&#8220;Board&#8221; for short].\n<\/p>\n<p>\tThe<br \/>\nmain grievance is that the 1st respondent-State of<br \/>\nGujarat, without having authority has increased strength of students<br \/>\nof 9th standard from 35 to 60 or 65, which, according to<br \/>\nthem, is neither rational nor in the interest of the students.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tFrom<br \/>\nthe prayers made in the present case, it will be evident that though<br \/>\nprayer has been made to set aside the resolution passed by the 1st<br \/>\nrespondent increasing number of the students in the secondary and<br \/>\nhigher secondary schools in the Gujarat State, but no specific prayer<br \/>\nhas been made as to which resolution is to be quashed.
