SURENDRA MOHAN, J.\n                ------------------------------------------------------------\n                      W.P(C) NO: 13864 OF 2010\n                -----------------------------------------------------------\n                   Dated this the 27th April, 2010.\n\n                                    JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner is the owner of a vehicle that is detained by the<\/p>\n<p>second respondent. The allegation is that the vehicle was involved<\/p>\n<p>in transporting illicit river sand. The petitioner has approached the<\/p>\n<p>first respondent by submitting Ext.P2 application seeking interim<\/p>\n<p>custody of the vehicle. It is contended that the continued detention<\/p>\n<p>of the vehicle in custody is causing a lot of hardship and loss to the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner.  The petitioner complains that no orders have been<\/p>\n<p>passed on Ext.P2, till date.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. In the above circumstances, this writ petition is disposed<\/p>\n<p>of directing the first respondent to consider the application of the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner for interim custody of the vehicle, Mahindra Jeep bearing<\/p>\n<p>registration No: KL-05-N 985, evidenced herein by Ext.P2, in<\/p>\n<p>accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon, as<\/p>\n<p>expeditiously as possible and at any rate, within a period of two<\/p>\n<p>weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.<\/p>\n<p>                                                           K.
