MOHANAN, JJ.<\/a>\n                 = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n                        W.P.(CRL) NO. 245 OF 2007\n                      = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n         DATED THIS, THE 29TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2007.\n\n                              J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>Raman, J.\n<\/p>\n<p>      We had passed a detailed order in this case on 26th October, 2007<\/p>\n<p>pursuant to which the alleged detenue Geethu Peethambaran continued to<\/p>\n<p>reside in &#8216;ATHANI&#8217; as she had not completed          18 years of age then.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, she appeared before us       again on 13.11.2007 and after<\/p>\n<p>enquiring about her well-being, we find that she is happy in &#8220;ATHANI&#8221;; but<\/p>\n<p>she is not continuing her studies as no alternate arrangement was made by<\/p>\n<p>her mother.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. The case was adjourned to this day.       We find that the girl has<\/p>\n<p>already attained majority on 28.11.2007. Earlier, when she was produced<\/p>\n<p>before the Magistrate&#8217;s Court on 22.10.2007, her sworn in statement was<\/p>\n<p>recorded by the Magistrate. From the statement recorded, we find that the<\/p>\n<p>girl has got a consistent case that she went along with Sudheesh &#8211; the 4th<\/p>\n<p>respondent herein on her own accord and now also she maintained her<\/p>\n<p>stand that she wants to go along with him.<\/p>\n<p>WP(CRL) 245\/07                          :2:\n<\/p>\n<p>       Since the alleged detenue Geethu Peethambaran has attained majority,<\/p>\n<p>she is set free.
