No. 2840 of 2007\n<\/p>\n<p>                &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<br \/>\n          Dated this the 2nd day of June, 2008<\/p>\n<p>                             Judgment<\/p>\n<p>Koshy,J.\n<\/p>\n<p>            Appellant herein was proceeded with two disciplinary<\/p>\n<p>proceedings. Finally, one proceeding was dropped. In the other<\/p>\n<p>proceeding, the disciplinary authority imposed punishment of<\/p>\n<p>barring of increment for six months without cumulative effect. The<\/p>\n<p>above punishment was later modified by the Deputy Inspector<\/p>\n<p>General of Police, Ernakulam as barring of increment for three<\/p>\n<p>months without cumulative effect. The reviewing authority agreed<\/p>\n<p>with the same. When the petitioner challenged that matter, this<\/p>\n<p>court directed the authority to reconsider the matter by judgment in<\/p>\n<p>O.P.No.10949 ;of 2003. Again, reviewing authority confirmed the<\/p>\n<p>punishment. The finding of the disciplinary authority was based on<\/p>\n<p>findings in the enquiry report. The learned single Judge considered<\/p>\n<p>the matter and agreed with the present impugned order. What is<\/p>\n<p>imposed is a minor punishment, but, enquiry was conducted and all<\/p>\n<p>the authorities concurred with the findings. Since the punishment is<\/p>\n<p>only a minor one, we are of the view that this is not to be<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.A.No.2840\/2007                   2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>considered in a writ petition. We also agree with the views of the<\/p>\n<p>learned single Judge.
