DENESAN, J.\n\n\n\n                 = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n                  W.P.(C) No. 7019 OF 2007 I\n\n                 = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n\n\n                 Dated this the 2nd March, 2007\n\n\n\n                          J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>     The petitioner is working as Junior Superintendent<\/p>\n<p>in a Grama Panchayat.   Ext. P4 representation filed by<\/p>\n<p>him   seeking   for   posting   in   Kannur   District   is   pending<\/p>\n<p>with   the   1st  respondent.     It   is   contended   that   persons<\/p>\n<p>who   are  admittedly  juniors  to  the  petitioner  have  been<\/p>\n<p>given postings of their choice while the petitioner has<\/p>\n<p>been posted outside the district of his choice.   While<\/p>\n<p>raising such complaints, the petitioner has pointed out<\/p>\n<p>that   a   vacancy   is   due   to   arise   in   the   office   of   the<\/p>\n<p>Deputy   Director   of   Panchayats   in   Kannur   District   so<\/p>\n<p>that   his   request   can   be   considered   before   filling   up<\/p>\n<p>that vacancy.\n<\/p>\n<p>     2. I have heard Govt. Pleader for the respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>     3.   In   the   nature   of   the   relief   prayed   for,   there<\/p>\n<p>shall   be   a   direction   to   the   1st  respondent   to   consider<\/p>\n<p>Ext.   P4   as   early   as   possible   and   take   appropriate<\/p>\n<p>decision   preferably   before   the   vacancy   pointed   out   in<\/p>\n<p>Ext. P4 is filled up by the 1st respondent.\n<\/p>\n<p>     The   petitioner   shall   produce   a   copy   of   the<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WPC No. 7019\/2007          -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>judgment along with a copy of the writ petition before<\/p>\n<p>the 1st respondent for information and compliance.\n<\/p>\n<p>                                        K.K.
