Justice T.R.RAMACHANDRAN NAIR\n\n Dated :22\/01\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n               T.R.RAMACHANDRAN NAIR,J.\n                       -------------------------\n                 W.P ( C) No.28715 of 2008\n                      --------------------------\n            Dated this the 22nd January,2009\n\n                        J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>     Petitioner is seeking for a direction to respondents<\/p>\n<p>to settle and disburse the family pension and commuted<\/p>\n<p>value of pension with arrears and interest at the rate of<\/p>\n<p>12% from the date of retirement.\n<\/p>\n<p>     Petitioner is a retired employee of the        Food<\/p>\n<p>Corporation of India and he attained superannuation on<\/p>\n<p>31.3.2007. According to the petitioner, he was a member<\/p>\n<p>of the EPF Scheme, which is evidenced by Exhibit-P1.<\/p>\n<p>His EPF number is 56978 and FBS No. is 1886.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, he had submitted all the relevant<\/p>\n<p>documents for getting pension before his retirement and<\/p>\n<p>the relevant documents have been forwarded to the 4th<\/p>\n<p>respondent for the purpose of processing the same.<\/p>\n<p>    2.    Heard learned Senior Counsel appearing for<\/p>\n<p>the Food Corporation of India and learned Senior Counsel<\/p>\n<p>appearing for the 1st respondent.\n<\/p>\n<p>W.P ( C) No.28715 of 2008<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      3.    It is submitted that details, if any, which have to<\/p>\n<p>be further submitted on behalf of the Corporation will be<\/p>\n<p>forwarded to the 1st respondent, within a period of one<\/p>\n<p>month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.<\/p>\n<p>The same is recorded. On getting the said documents, the<\/p>\n<p>1st respondent shall process the same and disburse the<\/p>\n<p>benefits due to the petitioner along with interest allowable,<\/p>\n<p>within a period of one month thereafter.
