Respondents\n\t\t\n\t\t\n   \tOriginal Application No.10383 of 1998 was filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench praying to direct the respondents to treat the applicant was on duty on 14.11.1980 and give all attended benefits which the first respondent has announced for the erstwhile Village Administrative Officers, like Dearness Allowance, Medical Allowance, Panchayat Allowance, etc., to the applicant with retrospective effect and also to extend the benefit extended in G.O.Ms.No.753 Revenue (Ser.VII-1) Department dated 9.9.98.  Since the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal was abolished, the O.A. was received by transfer and numbered as Writ Petition. \n\n\n\tFor petitioner        : Mr.K.C.Ramalingam\n\t\t\t\t\n\tFor respondents    : Mr.B.Vijay\n\t\t\t   Government Advocate\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n-----\n                                                      \nO R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tOriginal Application No.10383 of 1998 was filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench praying to direct the respondents to treat the applicant was on duty on 14.11.1980 and give all attended benefits which the first respondent has announced for the erstwhile Village Administrative Officers, like Dearness Allowance, Medical Allowance, Panchayat Allowance, etc., to the applicant with retrospective effect and also to extend the benefit extended in G.O.Ms.No.753 Revenue (Ser.VII-1) Department dated 9.9.98. At the time of final hearing of the matte, learned counsel for the petitioner  pleads that the representation dated 12.11.1997 of the petitioner  has not been considered so far in the light of G.O.Ms.No.753  Revenue (Ser.VIII-1) Department dated 9.9.98.  Therefore, a direction may be issued to the second respondent to consider and dispose off the same on merits.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3.  Heard Mr.B.Vijay, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4.  In view of the plea taken by the learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the age of the petitioner, the Ex. Village Munsif and the relief sought for, the second respondent is directed to consider and dispose off the representation dated 12.11.1997 if it is not already disposed off on merits.  Petitioner is also permitted to make a fresh representation to the second respondent within a month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if he so desires and the second respondent shall dispose off the same on merits within two months thereafter.    The Writ Petition is disposed off accordingly.
