No.219 of 2007\n    ------------------------------------------------\n   Dated this the 30th day of September, 2010\n\n                       ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>Pius C. Kuriakose, J<\/p>\n<p>       Under challenge in this revision is the<\/p>\n<p>judgment and decree passed by the Wakf Tribunal<\/p>\n<p>ordering eviction of the petitioners from the<\/p>\n<p>building in question. According to us, the issue is<\/p>\n<p>covered directly by the judgment of the Supreme<\/p>\n<p>Court in <a href=\"\/doc\/589438\/\">Ramesh Gobindram v. Sugra Humayun<\/p>\n<p>Mirza Wakf<\/a> (2010(3) KLT 862 (SC). We hold that<\/p>\n<p>the Wakf Tribunal does not have jurisdiction to try<\/p>\n<p>and dispose of the suit in question. In that view of<\/p>\n<p>the matter by setting aside the judgment and<\/p>\n<p>decree under challenge, we allow the revision and<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">C. R. P. No.219 of 2007       -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      dismiss      the  suit as  withdrawn.   Plaintiffs\/<\/p>\n<p>      respondents are given liberty to approach the<\/p>\n<p>      competent court within a period of six weeks from<\/p>\n<p>      today.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                    PIUS C.
