National Highway No. 44 is the life line of the people of Karimganj District and the entire people of Tripura State. Due to disruption of road transport of N.H. \u2013 44, the people of Tripura State and also the people of Karimganj District have been facing more trouble for transportation of essential commodities and goods. The people of Karimganj District have been staging agitations continuously against the B.R.T.F. activities and requesting for improvement of the road but the B.R.T.F. is not doing anything to improve the condition of the road. <\/p>\n<p>I request the Hon\u2019ble Minister of Road Transport and Highways to take immediate steps to improve the condition of this road quickly and solve the sufferings of the people of Karimganj District as well as the people of the State of Tripura.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0 <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lok Sabha Debates Need For Proper Maintenance Of National Highway No. 44 Between &#8230; on 25 July, 2002 Title: Need for proper maintenance of National Highway No. 44 between Suprakandi and Patharkandi, Assam &#8211; Laid.
