Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :11\/12\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                     ANTONY DOMINIC, J\n\n    -----------------------------------------------------------\n                    W.P.(C).No.36564\/2008\n    -----------------------------------------------------------\n          Dated this the 11th   day of December, 2008\n\n\n                           JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>     Petitioners are the Principal and Vice Principal of GPM<\/p>\n<p>Government College, Manjeshwaram. By Ext.P14 they were<\/p>\n<p>placed under suspension. The controversy is in relation to<\/p>\n<p>the transfer of 10 acres of land out of 42.63 acres of land,<\/p>\n<p>which was transferred to the petitioners&#8217; college by Ext.P1<\/p>\n<p>order. By Ext.P3 and P4, the aforesaid 10 acres were<\/p>\n<p>ordered to be transfered to the 3rd respondent University.<\/p>\n<p>According to the petitioners, since           the procedure for<\/p>\n<p>transfer was incomplete, they being the Principal and Vice<\/p>\n<p>Principal, they were the custodians of land and were duty<\/p>\n<p>bound to safeguard the interest of the College. According to<\/p>\n<p>them this precisely was what they have done, but however<\/p>\n<p>they were placed under suspension.\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WP(c).No.36564\/08             2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      2. Irrespective of the controversies that they have<\/p>\n<p>raised in the writ petition, complaining of the issues that<\/p>\n<p>lead to suspension by Ext.P14 order, it is stated that they<\/p>\n<p>have filed Exts.P16 and P17 representations before the first<\/p>\n<p>respondent seeking revocation of their suspension.<\/p>\n<p>      3. In this writ petition, though the petitioners have<\/p>\n<p>raised several contentions, having regard to the pendency of<\/p>\n<p>the   aforesaid   two   representations   before   the   first<\/p>\n<p>respondent, I direct the first respondent to consider the<\/p>\n<p>same with notice to the petitioners and pass orders thereon<\/p>\n<p>as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within 6 weeks<\/p>\n<p>from the date of production of a copy of the judgment along<\/p>\n<p>with a copy of the writ petition.
