RAMACHANDRAN NAIR, J.\n               ---------------------------------------\n                    W.P.(C) No.4411 OF 2010\n                ---------------------------------------\n           Dated this the 10th day of February, 2010.\n\n\n                          J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner is the registered owner of a Goods Vehicle<\/p>\n<p>bearing Registration No.KL 11Y 9569. It is submitted that the<\/p>\n<p>above vehicle was seized by the 2nd respondent on 29.01.2010<\/p>\n<p>alleging illegal transportation of river sand. It is stated that the<\/p>\n<p>vehicle was not having any river sand or any sand.<\/p>\n<p>      2. The main prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to<\/p>\n<p>the respondents to release KL 11Y 9569 Goods Vehicle to the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner on interim custody.\n<\/p>\n<p>      If the petitioner moves the 1st respondent with an<\/p>\n<p>application to release the vehicle by way of interim custody, the<\/p>\n<p>same will be considered and appropriate orders shall be passed<\/p>\n<p>within a period of seven days from the date of production of a<\/p>\n<p>copy of this judgment, in the light of the well settled principles<\/p>\n<p>laid down by this Court in various decisions and on such terms<\/p>\n<p>and conditions as he deems fit to impose. The petitioner has got<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.(C) No.4411\/2010                2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>a case that he was having a valid pass.         That aspect can be<\/p>\n<p>raised by the petitioner before the District Collector and the same<\/p>\n<p>will also be considered.         The matter will be considered in<\/p>\n<p>accordance with law.       There will be a further direction to the<\/p>\n<p>1st respondent to pass final orders within a period of two months<\/p>\n<p>from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment with notice to<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner and after considering the pleas raised by the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner, on merits.\n<\/p>\n<p>       This writ petition is disposed of as above.<\/p>\n<p>                                   T.R.
