Justice ANTONY DOMINIC\n\n Dated :11\/01\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                     ANTONY DOMINIC, J.\n                    ===============\n                 W.P.(C) NO. 1510 OF 2008 D\n               =====================\n\n           Dated this the 11th day of January, 2008\n\n                         J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>       Petitioner had participated in the poetry writing in the<\/p>\n<p>Higher Secondary School Youth Festival. Although he was a first<\/p>\n<p>prize winner in the last year, this year he was given only second<\/p>\n<p>prize with A grade.    It is stated that the appeal filed by the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner was also rejected by Ext.P2 order.<\/p>\n<p>      2.   Counsel for the petitioner submits that the difference<\/p>\n<p>in the mark between the first prize winner and the petitioner is 6.<\/p>\n<p>It is contended that there were 50 participants and that all the<\/p>\n<p>poetries written by the participants were valued by the judges in<\/p>\n<p>a very short time. This according to the petitioner shows non<\/p>\n<p>application of mind and thus vitiates the assessment. I am not in<\/p>\n<p>a position to agree with the counsel for the petitioner.
