It is required to be noted that since the<br \/>\n\tpetitioners were not ready and willing to pay the amount of premium<br \/>\n\tfor conversion from new tenure to old tenure, the Collector has<br \/>\n\tpassed the impugned order of confiscation. It is observed by the<br \/>\n\tRevisional Authority that there is prima faice no error in the order<br \/>\n\tpassed by the Collector. In view<br \/>\n\tof aforesaid, I am of the opinion that the view taken by authorities<br \/>\n\tbelow is just and proper. The authorities below have assigned cogent<br \/>\n\tand convincing reasons for arriving at the conclusion. I do not find<br \/>\n\tany illegality much less any perversity in the findings recorded by<br \/>\n\tthe authorities below. I am in complete agreement with the findings<br \/>\n\trecorded by the authorities below.\n<\/p>\n<p>At<br \/>\n\tthis stage, Mr.R.A. Sejpal, learned advocate for the petitioners,<br \/>\n\thas submitted that the petitioners are ready and willing to pay the<br \/>\n\tamount of premium of Rs.6,07,025\/- as directed by the Town Planner<br \/>\n\tvide communication dated 27th<br \/>\n\tJune 2006 with interest as may be fixed by this Court. In that view<br \/>\n\tof the  matter, the following  directions are issued to meet the<br \/>\n\tends of justice :\n<\/p>\n<p>The<br \/>\n\tpetitioners will make an application to the respondent-Collector on<br \/>\n\tor before 30th November 2010, stating that they are ready<br \/>\n\tand willing to pay premium of Rs.6,07,015\/- with interest at the<br \/>\n\trate of 12% per annum from 27th June 2006  till date, for<br \/>\n\tconversion of land from new tenure to old tenure.\n<\/p>\n<p>If<br \/>\n\tsuch an application is made by the petitioners for payment of<br \/>\n\tpremium along with interest in respect of the land in question, the<br \/>\n\trespondent-Collector will decide the said application and will<br \/>\n\tdirect the petitioners to pay the premium accordingly as on 27th<br \/>\n\tJune 2006.\n<\/p>\n<p>The<br \/>\n\tpetitioners are directed to make payment of such amount within a<br \/>\n\tperiod of four months from the date of such intimation from the<br \/>\n\trespondent-Collector.\n<\/p>\n<p>If<br \/>\n\tsuch an application as mentioned in Clause (i) hereinabove is made<br \/>\n\tby the petitioners  on or before 30th November 2010, the<br \/>\n\tsame will be decided by the respondent-Collector on or before 31st<br \/>\n\tDecember 2010;
