NO. 2015 OF 2007\n\n                =================================\n\n                  Dated this the 25th  day of  May 2007\n\n\n                                     O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The   revision   petitioner   stands   convicted   for   the   offence   under<\/p>\n<p>Section   138   of   the   Negotiable   Instruments   Act   and   sentenced   to<\/p>\n<p>undergo   simple   imprisonment   for   four   months   and   to   pay   a<\/p>\n<p>compensation of Rs.85,000\/- vide Section 357(3) Cr.P.C and in default<\/p>\n<p>to undergo simple imprisonment for six months.<\/p>\n<p>      2.     The   counsel   for   the   revision   petitioner   has   only   sought   for<\/p>\n<p>modification   of   sentence   and   for   time   to   pay   the   amount   of<\/p>\n<p>compensation.     In   the   circumstances,   the   sentence   is   modified   to<\/p>\n<p>imprisonment till the rising of the court.   The rest of the sentence  is<\/p>\n<p>confirmed.  The revision petitioner is granted  six   months   time   from<\/p>\n<p>today   onwards   to   pay   the   amount   of   compensation.     The   revision<\/p>\n<p>petitioner   shall   appear   before   Judicial   First   Class   Magistrate-I,<\/p>\n<p>Kottarakkara on 26.11.2007 to receive sentence. Non bailable warrant<\/p>\n<p>pending if any shall be kept in abeyance till then.<\/p>\n<p>      The Crl. R.P is disposed of accordingly.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                               K.R.
