And Others\nPetitioner Counsel :- A.B.Singh\nRespondent Counsel :- C.S.C.,Satish Chaturvedi\n\nHon'ble Anil Kumar,J.\n<\/pre>\n<p>Heard counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel and perused<br \/>\nthe record.\n<\/p>\n<p>In the present case petitioner has retired from service in the year 1997 and<br \/>\nsome post retiral dues were not paid to him, so he approached this Court for<br \/>\nredressal of his grievances.On 19.10.2004, this Court has passed following<br \/>\norder:-\n<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The learned Standing Counsel appeared on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 4.<br \/>\nOn behalf of respondent no. 5 Mr. Satish Chaturvedi has accepted notice. the<br \/>\nStanding Counsel Mr. Satish Chaturvedi is granted a month&#8217;s time to file<br \/>\ncounter affidavit. In the meantime it has been submitted on behalf of the<br \/>\npetitioner that the petitioner has retired in the year 1997 but up till date<br \/>\nretiral benefits has not been paid. Petitioner also submits that the relevant<br \/>\ndept. under whom the petitioner has worked has forwarded all papers to the<br \/>\nresp.no.5 but inspite of the aforessaid fact the sanction to this effect has not<br \/>\nbeen given.\n<\/p>\n<p>In view of the aforesaid fact the interim mandamus is issued to the respondent<br \/>\nNo. 2,3 and 5 to pay or show cause within the aforesaid period.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>Today, again learned Standing Counsel prays for time to file counter<br \/>\naffidavit.\n<\/p>\n<p>In view of the abovesaid facts, two weeks and no more time is granted to<br \/>\nlearned Standing Counsel to file counter affidavit or show cause on behalf of<br \/>\nrespondent Nos. 2 and 3 why the post retiral dues are not paid to the petitioner<br \/>\nfailing which, on the next date i.e. 5th of August, 2010 respondent No. 2<br \/>\n(Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department, U.P.
