Justice K.T.SANKARAN\n\n Dated :05\/02\/2009\n\n O R D E R\n                           K.T.SANKARAN, J.\n                ----------------------------------------------\n                    W.P(C) No. 26626 of 2008-T\n                ---------------------------------------------\n               Dated this the 5th February, 2009.\n\n                            J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner was appointed as Lower Primary School Assistant<\/p>\n<p>in S.R.M.L.P School, Koorkancherry, as per Exhibit P1 order of<\/p>\n<p>appointment with effect from 6.6.2006, in a vacancy which arose on<\/p>\n<p>the retirement of Headmaster.         The proposal for approval of the<\/p>\n<p>appointment of the petitioner was rejected by the Assistant<\/p>\n<p>Educational Officer and that order was confirmed in appeal by the<\/p>\n<p>District Educational Officer. The revision filed by the Manager before<\/p>\n<p>the Director of Public Instruction was dismissed, as per Exhibit P6<\/p>\n<p>order.   Challenging Exhibit P6 order, the petitioner filed Exhibit P7<\/p>\n<p>revision before the first respondent. Exhibit P7 is pending disposal.<\/p>\n<p>      2.    The reliefs prayed for in the Writ Petition are the following:<\/p>\n<p>            &#8220;a)    call for the records relating to Exhibits P4, P5<br \/>\n      and P6 and quash the originals of the same by the issue of a<br \/>\n      writ of certiorari or other appropriate writ or order.<\/p>\n<p>            b)     issue writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ<br \/>\n      order or direction commanding the 4th respondent Assistant<br \/>\n      Educational    Officer,   Thrissur    West     to   approve   the<br \/>\n      appointment of the petitioner as Lower Primary School<br \/>\n      Assistant with effect from 6.6.2006 onwards and disburse<br \/>\n      the pay and allowances due to the petitioner forthwith.<\/p>\n<p>            c)     issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate<br \/>\n      writ, order or direction commanding the 1st respondent to<br \/>\n      effectively consider and pass appropriate orders upon Exhibit<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P(C) No. 26626 of 2008-T           2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      P7 after affording an opportunity of being heard to the<br \/>\n      petitioner within a time limit.\n<\/p>\n<p>             d)    pass such other order or direction which this<br \/>\n      Hon&#8217;ble Court may deem fit and proper to grant in the<br \/>\n      circumstances of the case.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>      3.     The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner confines her relief for the time being to relief No.(c). The<\/p>\n<p>learned Government Pleader submitted that Exhibit P7 would be<\/p>\n<p>disposed of without delay.\n<\/p>\n<p>      4.
