RAMKUMAR, J.\n          --------------------------------------------------\n             Bail Application No.374 of 2011\n         ---------------------------------------------------\n        Dated this the 21st day of January, 2011\n\n                              ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>      The petitioner, who is the sole accused in Crime<\/p>\n<p>No.498 of 2010 of Malayinkeezhu Police Station for<\/p>\n<p>offences punishable under Sections 452, 324 &amp; 363 I.P.C.,<\/p>\n<p>seeks his enlargement on bail. The petitioner was arrested<\/p>\n<p>on 29\/12\/2010.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.   The learned Public Prosecutor opposed the<\/p>\n<p>application contending inter alia that the petitioner had<\/p>\n<p>criminally trespassed into the house of the de facto<\/p>\n<p>complainant and had abducted an 8 years old girl. The<\/p>\n<p>petitioner is involved in yet another crime.<\/p>\n<p>      3.   Having regard to the gravity of the offences,<\/p>\n<p>nature of the allegations levelled against the petitioner, the<\/p>\n<p>extent of the injury sustained, the propensities of the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner, the sentiments of the near relatives of the victim<\/p>\n<p>and the other facts and circumstances of the case, I am of<\/p>\n<p>B.A.No.374\/2011<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                              2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>the view that if the petitioner is released on bail, he will<\/p>\n<p>definitely    influence  and   intimidate   the    prosecution<\/p>\n<p>witnesses.     There is also the likelihood of the petitioner<\/p>\n<p>making himself scarce and fleeing from justice. I am,<\/p>\n<p>therefore, not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this<\/p>\n<p>stage.\n<\/p>\n<p>     This petition is accordingly dismissed.<\/p>\n<p>                                    V.
