Attariwala, Additional AG, Punjab accepts<\/p>\n<p>notice.\n<\/p>\n<p>           Having regard to the nature of order which I propose<\/p>\n<p>to pass, learned State counsel submits that there is no need to<\/p>\n<p>file any counter affidavit.\n<\/p>\n<p>           The petitioner is a government contractor, who is<\/p>\n<p>stated to have executed various works like supply of material,<\/p>\n<p>allotted to him by the respondents from time to time. The above<\/p>\n<p>said work was completed within the stipulated period and to the<\/p>\n<p>satisfaction of the authorities. The said amount has not been<\/p>\n<p>released to the petitioner, despite service of legal notice dated<\/p>\n<p>29.08.2008 (Annexure P-1), upon the respondents.<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\"> C.W.P NO. 2703 OF 2009                               -2-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>              It, thus, appears that the petitioner is entitled to be<\/p>\n<p>paid certain dues on account of the work executed by him.
