RAMACHANDRAN NAIR, J.\n               ---------------------------------------\n                   W.P.(C) No.14356 OF 2009\n                ---------------------------------------\n             Dated this the 3rd day of August, 2009.\n\n\n                          J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>       The petitioners herein are seeking for a direction to the<\/p>\n<p>1st respondent to pass necessary orders permitting the petitioners<\/p>\n<p>to fill up the vacancies of non-teaching staff in the 1st petitioner-<\/p>\n<p>institution.\n<\/p>\n<p>       2.   Rajagiri College of Social Sciences is a reputed<\/p>\n<p>educational    institution  affiliated  to  the   Mahatma    Gandhi<\/p>\n<p>University which has been accredited at 5 star level and<\/p>\n<p>reaccredited at A+ level by NAAC. Four aided courses including 3<\/p>\n<p>Post Graduate Courses are offered in the college.<\/p>\n<p>       3. The petitioners&#8217; college is having only P.G Course and<\/p>\n<p>Diploma, and Post Graduate Diploma Course in the aided sector.<\/p>\n<p>It is pointed out that in the light of the ban orders issued by the<\/p>\n<p>Government, existing vacancies of non-teaching staff could not<\/p>\n<p>be filled up. Exhibit P1 is the order by which staff pattern was<\/p>\n<p>revised in the institution in question.\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">W.P.(C) No.14356\/2009               2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>       4. The petitioners have moved the Government by filing<\/p>\n<p>Exhibit P2 representation for permission to fill up seven posts,<\/p>\n<p>the details of which have been stated in Exhibit P2 itself.<\/p>\n<p>       Heard the learned Government Pleader appearing for<\/p>\n<p>respondents. There will be a direction to the 1st respondent to<\/p>\n<p>take a decision on Exhibit P2 in the light of Exhibit P1 within a<\/p>\n<p>period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this<\/p>\n<p>judgment and communicate the decision to the petitioners. The<\/p>\n<p>1st respondent will pass appropriate orders after taking into<\/p>\n<p>consideration the requirements of the institution that are pointed<\/p>\n<p>out by the petitioners and also bearing in mind the staff pattern<\/p>\n<p>that is provided in Exhibit P1.\n<\/p>\n<p>       This writ petition is disposed of as above.<\/p>\n<p>                                   T.R.
