As scheduled, the matter was heard on 1.9.2009. Appellant not\npresent. The public authority is represented by Shri J.K. Srivastava, CPIO &amp; Shri\nA.K. Parashar, Dy. Registrar, NHRC. Shri Srivastava would submit that the\ncomplaint received from the complainant was forwarded to the competent\nauthority vide their letter dated 4.4.2007 for appropriate action. Subsequently,\nvide letter dated 8.7.2008, the complainant was informed that no action could be\ntaken by NHRC in terms of section 36 of the Protection of Human Rights Act,\n1993. He would also submit that the concerned file has since been weeded out\nand that no action is pending at their end.\n\n                                     DECISION\n2.
