RAVIKUMAR, J\n          - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n             W.P.(C)Nos. 2024 &amp; 2038 OF 2011\n          - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -\n\n         Dated this the 20th day of January, 2011\n\n\n                          J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>           These writ petitions carry similar issues for<\/p>\n<p>consideration and therefore, they were heard jointly and are<\/p>\n<p>being disposed of by this common judgment. The petitioners<\/p>\n<p>in both these writ petitions are retirees from the service of<\/p>\n<p>the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation.                     They have<\/p>\n<p>retired from its service on diverse dates.                      After their<\/p>\n<p>retirement from service pursuant to bipartite agreement<\/p>\n<p>entered into between the Corporation and its employees, their<\/p>\n<p>pensionary benefits were revised with effect from 1.3.2006<\/p>\n<p>subject to the condition that monitory benefits would be paid<\/p>\n<p>only with effect from 1.4.2009. The claim of the petitioners in<\/p>\n<p>these writ petitions is for the revised pensionary benefits with<\/p>\n<p>effect from 1.4.2009 in terms of the aforesaid bipartite<\/p>\n<p>agreement.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner as also the learned Standing Counsel appearing for<\/p>\n<p>the Corporation.\n<\/p>\n<p>WPC.Nos.2024 &amp; 2038\/2011<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                              : 2 :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      3. Admittedly, the issue involved in these writ petition is<\/p>\n<p>covered in favour of the petitioners by a Division Bench<\/p>\n<p>judgment of this Court in Writ Appeal No. 210\/2010 and<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P6 judgment.       In the said circumstances, these writ<\/p>\n<p>petitions are disposed of as hereunder:-\n<\/p>\n<p>      There will be a direction to the respondents to re-fix the<\/p>\n<p>pensionary benefits payable to the petitioners in terms of<\/p>\n<p>bipartite agreement by which such pensionary benefits were<\/p>\n<p>revised with effect from 1.3.2006 and to disburse arrears due<\/p>\n<p>to them with effect from 1.4.2009, expeditiously, at any rate,<\/p>\n<p>within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy<\/p>\n<p>of this judgment.      In case of failure on the part of the<\/p>\n<p>respondents to disburse the benefits as directed above, the<\/p>\n<p>arrears of pension payable to the petitioner would carry<\/p>\n<p>interest @ 6% from 1.6.2009.\n<\/p>\n<p>      Disposed of accordingly.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                    Sd\/-<\/p>\n<pre>\n                                  (C.T.
