RADHAKRISHNAN, J.\n\n= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n           W.P.(C).No.4796 of 2009-U\n\n= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n   Dated this the 18th day of February, 2009.\n\n                   JUDGMENT\n<\/pre>\n<p>The petitioner, a woman employee of an apex co-<\/p>\n<p>operative society, namely, the second respondent,<\/p>\n<p>states that disciplinary proceedings against her<\/p>\n<p>as initiated by the Manager and in the course of<\/p>\n<p>which, the fourth respondent has been appointed<\/p>\n<p>as an Enquiry Officer, should remain stalled till<\/p>\n<p>the Women&#8217;s Commission hears a complaint filed by<\/p>\n<p>her  regarding  alleged  abuse   in  office.  The<\/p>\n<p>petitioner, who states that she entered service<\/p>\n<p>as a sweeper on appointment on compassionate<\/p>\n<p>grounds, following the demise of her husband,<\/p>\n<p>pleads that though she entered as a sweeper, she<\/p>\n<p>was thereafter moved into a manufacturing unit<\/p>\n<p>and there, she is being compelled to serve tea<\/p>\n<p>and also to serve hot water even for the male<\/p>\n<p>employees. If the Women&#8217;s Commission feels that<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">WP(C)4796\/2009          -: 2 :-<\/span><\/p>\n<p> this is a matter in which the Commission has to<\/p>\n<p> exercise     its authority     on  the basis  of the<\/p>\n<p> complaint of the petitioner, that authority would<\/p>\n<p> take     such  action  as     is  found necessary in<\/p>\n<p> accordance with law. But, that cannot, in any<\/p>\n<p> manner, impair the employer&#8217;s rights to conclude<\/p>\n<p> the enquiry proceedings initiated on allegations<\/p>\n<p> levelled against the petitioner. It is also not<\/p>\n<p> for the writ court, as of now, to nip all the<\/p>\n<p> entire disciplinary proceedings in its bud since<\/p>\n<p> that would prejudice the management&#8217;s rights to<\/p>\n<p> effect appropriate control over its employees.<\/p>\n<p> If, ultimately, the petitioner has any grievance<\/p>\n<p> regarding     the   outcome     of  the  disciplinary<\/p>\n<p> proceedings, she has an alternate efficacious<\/p>\n<p> remedy under Section 69 of the KCS Act. This writ<\/p>\n<p> petition would only stultify early conclusion of<\/p>\n<p> proceedings,     either    way.   Hence,  this   writ<\/p>\n<p> petition is dismissed.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                        THOTTATHIL B.
