BASANT, J.\n\n             ````````````````````````````````````````````````````\n\n                   W.P.(C) No. 34028 OF 2007 A\n\n             ````````````````````````````````````````````````````\n\n            Dated this the 12th day of February, 2008\n\n\n                            J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>             The  petitioner is the  wife of a deceased person  in<\/p>\n<p>respect   of   whose   death   crime   No.501\/04   was   initially<\/p>\n<p>registered.    Dissatisfied  with  the  conduct   of  the   investigation<\/p>\n<p>in   that   crime   registered   under   section   174   Cr.P.C.,   the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner   had   come   to   this   Court   and   this   Court,   by   Ext.P4<\/p>\n<p>order,   had   directed   the   Superintendent   of   Police,   CBCID,<\/p>\n<p>Palakkad   to   ensure   that   a   proper   investigation   is   conducted<\/p>\n<p>by the   CBCID.     Accordingly,   the  investigation   was  continued<\/p>\n<p>by   the   detecting   inspector   of   CBCID,   Palakkad.     That<\/p>\n<p>investigation   is   still   in   progress.     Final   report   has   not   been<\/p>\n<p>filed.   The petitioner has now come  to this Court dissatisfied<\/p>\n<p>with   the   progress   of   the   investigation.     According   to   the<\/p>\n<p>petitioner, proper investigation has not been conducted by the<\/p>\n<p>investigating   officer.     Report   of   the   investigating   officer   was<\/p>\n<p>called for.  Report has been filed.  Copy has been furnished to<\/p>\n<p>the petitioner.  The investigating officer, in the report, submits<\/p>\n<p>WPC.34028\/07<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hidden_text\">                                     : 2 :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>that   a   proper   investigation   has   been   conducted   and   the<\/p>\n<p>investigation is coming to the conclusion.<\/p>\n<p>       2.    I   am   not   satisfied   that   any   directions   need   or<\/p>\n<p>deserve  to  be issued  at this  stage.     The  investigating  officer<\/p>\n<p>must   be   given   an   opportunity   to   complete   the   investigation<\/p>\n<p>and   file   a   proper   final   report.     At   the   moment,   no   further<\/p>\n<p>directions deserve to be issued.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>       3.    If   the   petitioner   is   aggrieved   by   such   final   report<\/p>\n<p>filed,   needless   to   say,   remedies   available   to   her   under   law<\/p>\n<p>can be claimed by her.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>       4.    The   learned   counsel   for   the   petitioner   then   prays<\/p>\n<p>that there shall be a specific direction to expeditiously file the<\/p>\n<p>final  report.     The  learned  Public   Prosecutor  submits   that   the<\/p>\n<p>investigation is almost complete and final report shall be filed<\/p>\n<p>within a period of one month from this date.<\/p>\n<p>       5.
