GIRI, J.\n             = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n               W.P(C) NO.12641 OF 2004\n             = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n         Dated this the 21st day of July,       2008\n\n                       J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>                       &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;\n<\/p>\n<p>     The    petitioner retired from service on 31.8.2001 and<\/p>\n<p>approached this Court with the grievance that he has not been<\/p>\n<p>paid the gratuity amount due to him. On 3.4.2006 this Court<\/p>\n<p>passed an interim order directing the respondents to pay the<\/p>\n<p>gratuity amount to the petitioner with liberty to file counter<\/p>\n<p>affidavit, if they have any objection to the said course of<\/p>\n<p>action.     No counter affidavit is seen filed.   It is to be<\/p>\n<p>presumed that the respondents have no objection in paying<\/p>\n<p>the gratuity amount to the petitioner.<\/p>\n<p>     Therefore, the Writ Petition is closed in terms of the<\/p>\n<p>interim order already passed.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                            V.
