Ashok Kumar Gupta, Additional Director General of Police-cum- Managing\n              Director, Bihar Police Building Construction Corporation, Patna.\n                                                               .......Respondents\n\n2   18-01-2011<\/pre>\n<p>                 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner,<\/p>\n<p>                    learned counsel for the State and learned counsel for<\/p>\n<p>                    Bihar Police Building Construction Corporation.<\/p>\n<p>                               Petitioner has preferred this writ petition in<\/p>\n<p>                    purported public interest alleging that the Managing<\/p>\n<p>                    Director of the Corporation has not taken steps to reduce<\/p>\n<p>                    the number of employees of the Corporation from 359 to<\/p>\n<p>                    half of that figure and at the same time has appointed<\/p>\n<p>                    about 157 employees on contract basis covering posts<\/p>\n<p>                    from Class-I to Class-IV. Petitioner has raised another<\/p>\n<p>                    issue that the audit report dated 26-6-2009 mentions<\/p>\n<p>                    some financial loss which was not justified.<\/p>\n<p>                               From the details appearing in the writ petition,<\/p>\n<p>                    it is not clear as to what is the present strength of regular<\/p>\n<p>                    employees     of the Corporation and whether the<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                            2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>        engagement of certain persons on contract basis is to<\/p>\n<p>        help in the working of Corporation or is against its<\/p>\n<p>        interest.
