Justice K.HEMA\n\n Dated :25\/07\/2008\n\n O R D E R\n                             K.HEMA, J.\n                    ------------------------------\n                       B.A. No.4671 OF 2008\n                    ------------------------------\n                Dated this the 25th day of July, 2008\n\n\n                               O R D E R\n<\/pre>\n<p>      This petition is for bail.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.   The alleged offence is under Section 55(i) of the<\/p>\n<p>Kerala Abkari Act. The article involved is 1.960 litres of IMFL.<\/p>\n<p>Petitioner was arrested from a public road while he was allegedly<\/p>\n<p>transporting the article on 17.06.2008.<\/p>\n<p>      3.   Learned Public Prosecutor submitted that he has no<\/p>\n<p>objection in granting bail to the petitioner on conditions.<\/p>\n<p>      Hence petitioner is granted bail on the following terms and<\/p>\n<p>conditions:\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>      (i)  The petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.25,000\/-<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>           with two solvent sureties each for the like sum to the<\/p>\n<p>           satisfaction of the Magistrate court concerned.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>      (ii) The petitioner shall report before the Investigating<\/p>\n<p>           Officer on every Monday and Thursday between 10<\/p>\n<p>           a.m. and 1 p.m. until further orders.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>B.A.4671\/2008<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                  2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>      (iii) The petitioner shall not commit any offence while on<\/p>\n<p>            bail and in case of breach of this condition, bail is liable<\/p>\n<p>            to be cancelled.\n<\/p>\n<p>      The petition is allowed.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>                                       K.HEMA, JUDGE<\/p>\n<p>pac<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kerala High Court R.Anilkumar vs The Excise Inspector on 25 July, 2008 IN THE HIGH COURT OF KERALA AT ERNAKULAM Bail Appl..No. 4671 of 2008() 1.
