The Government is supposed to instal the structure within a short period. But before that coronation is held, a controversy has been cropped up challenging the very foundation of the structure of CDS. The Chief of Air Staff has already started airing his disapproval to the proposal of CDS. In view of massive military infrastructure and its growing vulnerability, there should be no ambiguity to the CDS structure and it is imperative also. In the wake of the Kargil conflict the issue had been contemplated over and a Group of Ministers has already recommended for it. But it is reported that the views of the other wings of the Armed Forces have not been taken cognizance of.\n<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, may I know from the Government whether all the wings of the Armed Forces have been taken into confidence before the structure of CDS is going to be installed.
