Mr.M.Suresh Kumar\n\t\t    Standing counsel for TNEB\n\n:ORDER\n<\/pre>\n<p>\tHeard Mr.R.Vijayakumar, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the<br \/>\npetitioner and Mr.M.Suresh Kumar, the learned Standing counsel appearing on<br \/>\nbehalf of the respondents.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t2. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for<br \/>\nhearing and disposal.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t3. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel<br \/>\nappearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if<br \/>\nthe first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the<br \/>\npetitioner, dated 02.08.2010, on merits and in accordance with law, within a<br \/>\nspecified period.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t4. The learned Standing counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents,<br \/>\nhas no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.\n<\/p>\n<p>\t5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on<br \/>\neither side, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation,<br \/>\ndated 02.08.2010, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as<br \/>\nwell as to the other persons concerned, if any, on merits and in accordance with<br \/>\nlaw, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this<br \/>\norder. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation, dated<br \/>\n02.08.2010, to the first respondent, along with a copy of this order. However,<br \/>\nit is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion<br \/>\non the merits of the matter.\n<\/p>\n<p>\tThe writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
