Respondents\n\n\n                Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of  India\npraying for issuance of writ of habeas corpus as stated therein.\n\nFor petitioner :  Mr.M.Vivekanandan\n\nFor respondents :  Mr.Abudukumar Rajarathinam  \n                Govt.Advocate(Crl.side)for R1 &amp;R2\n\n                Mr.R.Karthikeyan for R3\n\n\n:ORDER  \n<\/pre>\n<p>(Order of the Court was made by P.  SATHASIVAM,J.)   <\/p>\n<p>                The   petitioner,   by  name,  P.Balamurugan  has  filed  this<br \/>\npetition, seeking direction to the respondents for production of  detenue,  by<br \/>\nname, K.Muthulakshmi, D\/o.M.Kalimuthu, Pulianthottam, Chinnadharapuram, before<br \/>\nthis Court and set her at liberty.\n<\/p>\n<p>        2.   Pursuant  to  our  direction,  the  girl, by name, K.Muthulakshmi<br \/>\nappeared before us.  According to her, she is aged about 23 years, her date of<br \/>\nbirth being 03.04.1984.  It is the case of the petitioner that he married  the<br \/>\ngirl K.Muthulakshmi  on  20.02.2006.  Pursuant to the marriage, the petitioner<br \/>\nfiled this petition, since according to him, the girl  is  under  the  illegal<br \/>\ncustody of the third respondent, who is none else than the father of the girl.\n<\/p>\n<p>        3.   In  the  light  of  the allegations made, we enquired the girl K.<br \/>\nMuthulakshmi.  According to her, she herself tied &#8216;Thali&#8217; and no marriage  was<br \/>\never performed.    She also asserted that both of them have not lived together<br \/>\neven for a single day.  She further informed  us  that  on  03  .03.2006,  she<br \/>\nmarried  one  Senthil  Kumar in the presence of relatives and well wishers and<br \/>\naccording to her, from that date, she is living with him happily.       In the<br \/>\nlight of the above statement and of the fact that she being a major aged about<br \/>\n23 years, we are satisfied that she is not under the illegal custody of  third<br \/>\nrespondent as claimed by the petitioner.\n<\/p>\n<p>        In  the  light  of  the  above  information,  we are satisfied that no<br \/>\nfurther adjudication is required in this petition; accordingly,  the  same  is<br \/>\nclosed.\n<\/p>\n<p>gl<\/p>\n<p>To<\/p>\n<p>1.
