No.2274\/2009-U\n                  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n                Dated this the 21st day of January, 2009\n\n                         J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>           The    petitioner   is   presently   working  as   Senior<\/p>\n<p>Superintendent in the Electrical Section Mavungal, Kanhangad in<\/p>\n<p>Kasaragod District. He has been working there from January 2008.<\/p>\n<p>He is seeking for a transfer to any of the Circles at Irinjalakuda,<\/p>\n<p>Ernakulam and Perumbavoor. The petitioner has certain physical<\/p>\n<p>problems and require surgery to be conducted immediately. Ext.P1<\/p>\n<p>will show that he has been referred to General Hospital, Ernakulam<\/p>\n<p>in the matter and, therefore, transfer to any nearest Station is<\/p>\n<p>necessitated because of the urgency in getting medical treatment. It<\/p>\n<p>is in these circumstances that the petitioner has filed Ext.P2<\/p>\n<p>representation seeking for a posting in appropriate Station in<\/p>\n<p>Ernakulam District itself.   The petitioner has pointed out that by<\/p>\n<p>Ext.P4, after promoting six persons who are juniors to the petitioner,<\/p>\n<p>orders regarding their posting have been issued but without<\/p>\n<p>considering Ext.P2 filed by the petitioner.\n<\/p>\n<p>      2.   Heard the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents<\/p>\n<p>also. There will be a direction to the second respondent to consider<\/p>\n<p>W.P.(C) No.2274\/2009<br \/>\n<span class=\"hidden_text\">                                  -:2:-<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ext.P2 and the request of the petitioner for a posting in Irinjalakuda,<\/p>\n<p>Ernakulam or Perumbavoor Electrical Circles as requested for in the<\/p>\n<p>said representation within a period of one month from the date of<\/p>\n<p>receipt of the copy of this judgment.     Appropriate orders will be<\/p>\n<p>passed after considering the merits of the matter.<\/p>\n<p>     The writ petition is allowed as above. No costs.<\/p>\n<p>                                   (T.R.
