(C) No.  1209  OF 2008 R\n                           = = = = = = = = = = = = = =\n\n\n\n                          Dated this the  10 th January, 2008\n\n\n\n                                        J U D G M E N T\n<\/pre>\n<p>         Petitioner   was   a   participant   in   Kathakali   Sangeetham   in   the<\/p>\n<p>District Level Youth Festival in which she has got the 3rd prize with A<\/p>\n<p>grade.  It is stated that an appeal was filed and the orders have not<\/p>\n<p>been   communicated.     Impugning   the   assessment   of   performance<\/p>\n<p>the   petitioner   submits   that   the   judges   lacked   expertise   and   that<\/p>\n<p>vitiated their assessment of performance.\n<\/p>\n<p>         2.   On   instruction,   the   learned   Govt.   Pleader   submits   that   all<\/p>\n<p>the  judges  were  from  Kalamandalam  and  were  experts in  the  item<\/p>\n<p>performed by the petitioner.  It is also submitted that the first prize<\/p>\n<p>winner had secured 250 marks, the second prize winner 240 marks<\/p>\n<p>and   the   petitioner,   being   the   3rd  prize   winner,   had   secured   236<\/p>\n<p>marks.  It is also submitted that this was the uniform assessment by<\/p>\n<p>all the three judges.
